  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 ounce can chopped green chiles
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 3 colby jack cheese sticks (cut into fourths)
  • 4 uncooked pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add onion and green chiles; stir until softened. Mix in salsa and taco seasoning; season with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly.
  3. Roll out pie crusts and cut into rectangles. Spoon meat mixture onto the center of each rectangle, top with cheese, cover with another piece of dough, seal edges using a fork, and poke holes on top for steam.
  4. Bake on the prepared baking sheet for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
