Cilantro Grilled Shrimp

  • 2 pounds uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
  2. Refrigerate the marinated shrimp for at least 30 minutes but no longer than 90 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill the shrimp for about 5 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are pinkish-orange and firm.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
